Bibigo Launches in Coles Amid Australia's K-Wave 21 November

CJ Foods Oceania

Sydney, Australia – CJ Foods Oceania, a global leader in Korean cuisine, is excited to announce the expansion of its flagship brand, bibigo, into Coles supermarkets. This milestone launch offers Australian shoppers access to seven bibigo products, enriching their choices with authentic Korean flavours and reinforcing the growing influence of Korean culture in Australia.

With bibigo products already available at Woolworths, this new partnership with Coles boosts CJ Foods' presence in the Australian mainstream retail market to over half of all stores (approximately 65%), a number that continues to rise steadily.

With each of these stores now featuring at least one CJ Foods product and many of them stocking several SKUs, the reach and influence of Korean cuisine in Australia has hit an all-time high. This trend continues to gain momentum as local audiences sample the CJ Foods' offerings and share their experiences within their circles.

Bringing Korean Street Food and Tradition to Australian Homes

The launch includes an exciting range of products that reflect Korea's rich culinary heritage:

  • bibigo Mandu Dumplings (3 SKUs): Pork & Chives (525g), Vegetable & Corn (525g), Kimchi Flavoured (280g, Vegan).

  • bibigo Rice Ball (1 SKU): Kimchi & Cheese (500g).

  • bibigo Korean-Style Corn Dog (2 SKUs): K-style Corn Dog (450g) and K-style Potato Corn Dog (400g).

  • bibigo Sweet Waffle (1 SKU): Bung O Pang Sweet Red Bean Waffle (300g).

This is the first time bibigo's rice balls and Korean street food, such as sweet red bean waffles and corn dogs, will be available in Australian mainstream retail. These products offer consumers an easy and delicious way to experience authentic Korean flavours, right at home.

A Culinary Adventure

Eugene Cha, Managing Director of CJ Foods Oceania, expressed excitement about the new launch: "The continued rise of K-culture in Australia has created a wonderful platform for us to introduce even more of our authentic Korean offerings to mainstream markets. We're thrilled that bibigo products will now be available at Coles, allowing even more Australians to experience the rich, traditional flavours of Korea. Our aim is to make quality Korean food accessible and convenient for everyone."

Riding the K-Wave in Australia
