A vibrant celebration of diversity and inclusivity, Big Day Out in Harmony (BDOIH), returns to the Red Centre on Saturday, 1 June 2024.
The annual event is a celebration of the people and their cultures that call the Red Centre home.
BDOIH will showcase a dynamic line-up of Territory acts and performances alongside interstate performer Immy Owusu with his band. Attendees can look forward to a feast for the senses, with an array of cuisines ranging from Fijian, Ethiopian, Filipino/American and Indian.
There will also be interactive activities such as hair braiding, hand henna painting and traditional attire try-ons for those looking to get involved.
Organised by Multicultural Services of Central Australia (MCSCA) in collaboration with Alice Springs Town Council, this eagerly anticipated event promises to delight residents and visitors alike. BDOIH is supported by the Northern Territory Government through Northern Territory Major Events Company Event Funding Program.
The free event will take place at the Alice Springs Town Council Lawn from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday 1 June.
