A Tassie man resident has big plans for an adventure-filled retirement after scoring a substantial win in the Saturday Lotto $20 million Superdraw.
The Hobart local is among the fortunate 21 division one winners from the TattsLotto draw 4489 on Saturday, 27 July 2024, each taking home about $1 million ($952,380.96).
“I’m speechless!” the Tasmanian cried when his win was confirmed by a lotto official.
“It’s very nice!
“I’m glad you called. I’m still waking up, but you could ring me at 3am with that kind of news.
“I wouldn’t have checked the ticket for a couple of days and would have had no idea.
“This has come at just the right time. It allows us to get ahead.
“We’ll pay off some bills and we’d love to plan a big holiday and help the children.
“We’re not going to do much today – just keep looking at the ticket!
“Thank you very much. Keep up the good work!”
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4489 on 27 July 2024 were 4, 37, 45, 27, 11 and 20, while the supplementary numbers were 15 and 10.
