Biometrics & Surveillance Camera Commissioner Resigns

Having been appointed to the role of Biometrics and Surveillance Camera Commissioner in a time-limited capacity to help deliver the closure of the office on commencement of the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill, Tony Eastaugh is stepping down from the post in mid-August.

We await news from the Home Office regarding the appointment of a new commissioner and will provide an update in due course.
