An addendum to the report by Mike Blake AM has reconfirmed his findings that no Head of Agency assessed in his initial report had potentially breached the Code of Conduct.
Mr Blake was engaged by the Tasmanian Government to conduct an independent review of the conduct of Heads of Agency to determine whether there were any potential breaches of the State Service Code of Conduct.
Premier Jeremy Rockliff said after releasing the final report of the Blake Review in April, I invited Mike Blake AM to consider any additional information that he considered relevant to his Terms of Reference.
"I have accepted Mr Blake's addendum which confirms that no Head of Agency named in his initial report had potentially breached the Code of Conduct," Premier Rockliff said.
"I thank Mr Blake for the additional work on his review and the extra measures that he has undertaken to satisfy himself, and all Tasmanians, that no breaches have occurred.
"I maintain my resolve that the Tasmanian Government will leave no stone unturned."
The Government has accepted Mr Blake's findings and is considering the recommendations, noting that these remain unchanged in the addendum.
"Now that I have received this final piece of information, I have directed the Head of the State Service to provide me with advice about the recommendations made in the report," Premier Rockliff said.
