Blinken Meets With NATO Chief Stoltenberg 31 May

Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met today with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Prague on the sidelines of an informal meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers. Secretary Blinken and Secretary General Stoltenberg discussed the United States' and NATO's enduring commitment to supporting Ukraine as it defends itself against Russia's aggression. They discussed key deliverables for the upcoming NATO Washington Summit, including bolstering Ukraine's defense, deepening ties between NATO and its Indo-Pacific Partners, and further strengthening Allied deterrence and defense. The Secretary underscored the importance of continued progress on Allies sharing the responsibility of NATO's collective defense equitably.
