Blinken to Participate in Foreign Policy Talk at Rice's Institute Oct. 3

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will join Rice University Baker Institute for Public Policy Director David Satterfield and Honorary Chair James A. Baker III to discuss the country's foreign policy strategy at an event at Rice Oct. 3.

Under President Joe Biden, Blinken has overseen efforts to revitalize U.S. alliances and advance the country's interests at home and abroad. Topics will cover the ongoing Russian war in Ukraine, strategic issues posed by China, volatility in the world's energy markets and U.S.-Mexico relations.

When: Oct. 3, 6-7 p.m.

Where: Rice University's Alice Pratt Brown Hall. This event is free and open to the public via in-person attendance or livestream. In-person tickets are limited and must be reserved in advance.
