The body located in bushland near Nabowla on Wednesday has been formally identified as 14 year old Shyanne-Lee Tatnell.
The results were confirmed through DNA testing.
Shyanne-Lee was last seen alive in Launceston on 30 April, 2023.
A 36-year-old Scottsdale man has been charged with murder in relation to her disappearance.
