Body located in water at Glenelg

Police are investigating after a woman's body was pulled from the water at Glenelg.

About 7.45pm Sunday 30 July, police were called to the Glenelg Jetty after a person was seen floating unresponsive in the water.

Western District patrols and officers from the Water Operations Unit attended the scene, with WOU members swimming out to retrieve the body. The woman was brought to shore but sadly could not be revived.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing. There are no further details known at this time.
