The body of a missing Rockdale man has been located in Sydney's east.
The 87-year-old man was reported missing after he left an aged care facility at Rockdale about 1pm on Tuesday 21 December 2021 and failed to return.
Officers attached to St George Police Area Command commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.
Earlier today (Thursday 30 December 2021), the body of the missing man was located at Centennial Park.
Initial inquiries suggest the man's death is not suspicious.
A report will now be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
