Police are investigating after the body of a teenaged boy was found on a road in the Riverina, NSW Police say.
About 1.30am today (Wednesday 19 December 2018), emergency services were called to River Road, Wantabadgery, about 40km east of Wagga Wagga, after a passing motorist noticed a body on the road.
The driver stopped to render assistance and discovered it was the body of a teenaged boy.
A crime scene has been established and inquiries are now underway to confirm the identity of the boy.
Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit will be investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
