Kiama Council has reopened The Boneyard at Bombo Headland with water testing giving the beach the all clear.
Council closed the beach after Sydney Water reported a nearby wastewater overflow.
The overflow was some distance from the beach, but the area was closed and water testing conducted as a precaution.
The tests have we found no traces of wastewater or sewage.
The Boneyard is now open to swimming, surfing and fishing.
Sydney Water is continuing to clean up the overflow site.
