Registrations are now open for potential stallholders to book their free spot at the upcoming Early Childhood Careers Expo.
The expo is a not-for-profit event supported by Council which aims to provide an opportunity for the community to explore qualification requirements and different career pathways into the early years sector, a rewarding professional field with growing demand.
Attendees will have access to a broad range of businesses from across the Shire affiliated with early years education.
This year's expo is set to take place on the morning of Tuesday 27 May 2025 at the West Gippsland Arts Centre in Warragul.
Baw Baw Shire Mayor Cr Danny Goss is strongly encouraging local early years organisations to get behind the expo and book in a free stall, following the success of the inaugural expo held last year.
"As Baw Baw Shire's population continues to grow, so does the need for more early years services and qualified professionals in these areas", said the Mayor.
"Last year we held the first expo which was an enormous success with positive feedback from both attendees and stallholders. We invite last year's stallholders as well as any new and interested services and organisations to join in the conversation."
"Council is committed to supporting our growing early childhood sector and know this expo will go a long way in connecting people to potential employment and other opportunities in the field."
To register for a free stall at the expo, organisations can fill in an online expression of interest form via the following link: Baw Baw Shire Council's Early Childhood Career Expo 2025
Registrations for potential stallholders close on Thursday 10 April 2025.
