Boost Wellbeing With Self Pilates

Nestled in Gateway Village, Self Pilates has been offering health and wellbeing services to the Wodonga community since 2018. Having relocated to its current location two years ago, this locally-owned and family-operated studio offers a diverse range of classes and programs designed to cater to all ages and abilities.

Founded by Sally Laundess, Self Pilates is more than just a fitness studio. It is a welcoming space where physical and mental well-being are prioritised and nurtured.

Specialising in small group classes, the studio offers reformer Pilates, mat Pilates, yoga, barre and strength classes. Additionally, Self Pilates hosts workshops, events and specialised health programs to provide holistic support to the border community.

With a team of around 15 dedicated employees, the studio prides itself on inclusivity and fostering a sense of community.

Sally said, "Self was created to provide an oasis for any person who walks through our door to feel a sense of connection and community and feel welcomed and comfortable when it comes to exercising."

The studio operates seven days a week, offering flexible group classes to accommodate various schedules, with sessions available early morning, throughout the day and after hours.

Sally's favourite aspect of owning Self Pilates is the incredible community it has created.

"From our amazing team who live and breathe our philosophy to the people that attend our offerings, it's always the most rewarding part getting to know each person."

"Some of our attendees have been clients of mine for over 10 years so it's very special to share not just classes but life's ups and downs together."

Looking ahead, Self Pilates plans to continue at Gateway Village while expanding its services to include bespoke retreats and events in collaboration with other like-minded local businesses.

You can find Self Pilates at 4/44-46 Lincoln Causeway, Gateway Island next to La Maison.
