Are you a home based or new small business looking to give your business a boost? Whitehorse City Council's Boost your Business program offers new, small and home based business an opportunity to take their business to the next level.
Taking place between 16 and 20 March, the Boost your Business series of workshops and seminars is an exciting, week-long program designed to assist, grow and boost businesses. Workshop topics focus on current and relevant business practice and are selected based on feedback from past workshop participants.
The Boost your Business program is designed to focus on the needs of new, small businesses and home-based businesses.
Whitehorse Councillor Andrew Davenport says, "Boost your Business is a great space for small business owners to concentrate on and learn about a range of current businesses strategies and practices. It's also a unique chance to network with other small business owners facing similar wins and challenges."
The 2020 Boost your Business program includes the following workshops and seminars:
- Starting Your Business: How to turn an idea into a business
- Marketing Your Business: How to get it right first time
- Start Me, Grow Me: Small Business Forum
- Tax Essentials
- Facebook for Small Business Simplified
Workshops are facilitated by a range of organisations including Small Business Victoria, Australian Taxation Office, Melbourne Innovation Centre and the Government Business Education Network (GBEN).
From fine tuning the way a small business communicates with audiences to effective claiming of business expenses, the Boost your Business Program is a useful tool for expanding thinking and knowledge around effective business management.
