Detour Alert: Kinglake-Glenburn Road and Bower Street Intersection
If you are planning to travel along Kinglake-Glenburn Road in the next few weeks, you may want to take note of some upcoming roadworks that will affect the intersection with Bower Street.
Starting from Monday 17 July, the intersection will undergo an upgrade that involves sealing 50 metres of Bower Street to the intersection with Kinglake-Glenburn Road and extending some footpaths. The upgrade aims to improve the safety and accessibility of the area for motorists and pedestrians.
The works are expected to be completed by early August, weather permitting. However, during this period, there will be some traffic disruptions and detours in place. Bower Street will be closed to Kinglake-Glenburn Road for the duration of the works, so you will need to use Mill Street and Fern Street to access Kinglake-Glenburn Road from Bower Street.
