A boy missing from the Lake Illawarra area has been located safe and well.
The 13-year-old was last seen on Northcliffe Drive, Berkeley, about 10am on Saturday 12 August 2023.
When he did not return and was unable to be contacted or located, officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified on Sunday (13 August 2023) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following inquiries and a public appeal for assistance, the boy was located in Wollongong about 9pm last night (Monday 14 August 2023).
Police would like to thank the media and the community for their assistance.
