Federal Member for Flynn, Colin Boyce has been unanimously re-endorsed by the LNP as their candidate for the seat of Flynn which he has held since 2022.
Mr Boyce said he was honoured to be re-endorsed by local LNP branch members and remained committed to taking Flynn forward.
"For over two years I've been standing up the Flynn electorate. I've stood up to big corporations and their plan to pump waste into the Great Artesian Basin, I've ensured Central Queensland, and the Wide Bay gets its fair share of funding and fought for much needed cost of living relief for struggling households," Mr Boyce said.
"However, there is more work to be done, and this election is a choice about Australia's future.
"Unlike Labor, the Coalition will have the right priorities for Australia and with the right priorities we will have the right policies to support Australians, families and small businesses.
"The Coalition have a plan to get Australia back on track.
Our plan will deliver:
• Low inflation, by reining in wasteful spending that fuels inflation and by reducing tax, red-tape and the control of union bosses over small businesses.
• Affordable homes, by funding critical infrastructure required for housing, helping first home buyers, restricting foreign investors, and restoring a sustainable migration intake.
• Safer communities, by getting tough on violent crime by non-citizens, boosting our defence and border security.
• Quality healthcare, by funding more GPs, increasing bulk billing rates and more Medicare-subsidised mental health sessions.
"Whether you live in the Central Highlands to the West, Gracemere to the North, Gladstone to the East, Wondai to the South or one of the towns in between, I am committed to ensuring strong representation for the Flynn electorate and I will continue to deliver for our region."
The next Federal Election must be held by May 2025.
