Brabham Burglary Investigation

Midland Detectives are seeking information regarding a burglary in Brabham this morning, Sunday 28 August 2022, in which an attempt was made to steal an ATM.
About 1:30am a member of the public reported suspicious activity at a shopping centre on Everglades Avenue. Information received was that it appeared an ATM was dragged out of the shopping centre. A short time later information was received that an ATM had been located in the shopping centre's car park.
Police attended the scene and confirmed a burglary had taken place within the shopping centre and that an ATM had been removed from the centre, and that the stolen ATM was left in the car park.
No cash was stolen from the ATM.
It is believed a white dual-cab utility, possibly a Toyota Hilux, was used in the incident.
While this incident has not yet been linked to a service station burglary in Caversham the night before, given the similar circumstances and description of vehicle involved further investigation will be undertaken to determine if the two incidents are linked.
Anyone in the Brabham area who has CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone vision of a white dual-cab ute being driven in the area between 1:00am and 2:00am is asked to upload the vision directly to Investigators via this link: https://wapf.au.evidence.com/axon/citizen/public/brabhamburglary
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
