Break And Enter Charges, Cleveland

Police have arrested three boys following a series of alleged break and enters in Cleveland early this morning, February 14.

It is alleged police were called just after midnight to Anchorage Drive, following reports three boys had been attempting to gain entry into vehicles parked along the street.

Police attended shortly after and located a 13-year-old Yamanto boy, who was taken into custody.

The police dog squad was then deployed to help locate the other two boys who fled the scene.

During the search, police were called to an attempted break and enter at a nearby Captains Court address.

Upon arrival, officers located a 14-year-old Cleveland boy and 15-year-old Cleveland boy.

The 14-year-old Cleveland boy was arrested and charged with one count of enter premises and commit indictable offence, two counts of attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, and one count of face masked, blackened or disguised with intent to commit indictable offence.

He is due to appear in Brisbane Childrens Court today.

The 15-year-old Cleveland boy and 13-year-old Yamanto boy were taken into custody and are being dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
