Detectives from Bayside Criminal Investigation Branch have charged two people following investigations into a number of property offences in Wynnum between February 22 and 25.
Between 9am Saturday February 22 and approximately 5am on February 25, it will be alleged attempts were made to break into five businesses on Florence Street, Edith Street, Bay Terrace and Tingal Road.
At approximately 5am on February 25, a business on Bay Terrace was broken into and items including clothing and jewellery were stolen.
Investigations led police to attend two Wynnum addresses yesterday, where a 34-year-old woman and 45-year-old man were taken into custody.
The 34-year-old Wynnum woman has been charged with one count of enter premises and commit indictable offence and three counts of attempted enter premises with intent to commit.
She is expected to appear in Wynnum Magistrates Court on March 31.
The 45-year-old Wynnum man with one count of enter premises and commit indictable offence and four counts of attempted enter premises with intent to commit.
Appeared in Wynnum Magistrates Court today, February 27.
Investigations remain ongoing, police ask anyone with information to come forward.
