Break And Enter Series Appeal At Toowoomba

Police are investigating a series of break and enter offences on businesses across Toowoomba overnight, February 3.

Initial reports suggest shortly after midnight three people used bolt cutters to smash their way into a supermarket on West Street, Kearneys Spring stealing a quantity of cigarettes and personal accessories, before leaving the scene.

Two of the offenders were wearing white jumpers and black pants, while the third offender was wearing all black with a blue cover over their face.

Then at around 2:40am three offenders used bolt cutters to smash through a glass door into a bowls club on Gipps Street, Drayton stealing cash, a laptop computer, a small quantity of alcohol and damaging property.

One of the offenders was wearing a green jumper while a second offender was wearing a white hooded top.

A short while later at around 3am, three people attempted to break into a supermarket on Erin Street, Wilsonton, however they left empty handed after failing to gain entry.

Police are also investigating an earlier break and enter at a fitness business in Rangeville on Saturday night, February 1.

Around midnight an unknown offender/s smashed through a glass door gaining entry to a business on High Street, stealing a computer, and damaging property.

Police are investigating whether the incidents are linked.

Police ask anyone with information, relevant footage or may have information regarding a silver Mazda CX30 observed during the Drayton break in to come forward.

Investigations remain ongoing.
