Break-and-enter, Shot Fired, Bundall

Police are investigating a break-and-enter at an address at Bundall, where a shot was fired into the roof of the property in the early hours of Tuesday, July 23.

Initial investigations indicate two offenders attended the property on Slatyer Avenue at approximately 12.30am, one offender armed with a handgun.

The offenders attempted to enter via a balcony, and while doing so, they smashed a glass door and discharged the weapon into the roof.

The offenders then proceeded to enter the property and threatened a female occupant with the weapon, before leaving the scene shortly afterward without taking any property.

The woman was not injured during the incident.

Both offenders then left the scene in what is believed to be a white sedan.

Police believe the offenders were targeting a previous occupant of the property and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV vision, to come forward.
