Detectives from Logan Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating a series of break and enters overnight.
Around 2am, a group of people forced entry into a shopping centre on Browns Plains Road, Browns Plain.
Once inside, the group smashed the display windows of a store and stole a quantity of jewellery before fleeing the scene in two vehicles, a dark-coloured SUV and a blue utility.
Later that morning around 3.10am, the same group travelled to a service station along the Pacific Motorway in Loganholme.
They gained entry and stole a quantity of tobacco and cigarettes before fleeing.
Investigations are underway.
