The Tasmanian Liberal Government is continuing its war on red tape, with Tasmanian businesses set to be able to tender for Government work with a single form.
Single Form Tendering represents a significant step forward for businesses by reducing complexity associated with Government contracts.
Treasurer, Guy Barnett, said these reforms pave the way for businesses to plan and execute projects with great confidence.
"We are setting out to consolidate multiple forms into one, so businesses will no longer be bogged down by unnecessary paperwork," the Treasurer said.
"Not only will this save time, it will save resources and it will give our businesses the confidence they need to put their best foot forward.
"We have listened to our business community and we are also delivering an enhanced suite of reforms to reduce the barriers faced by Tasmanian businesses when bidding for Government contracts.
"Over time this will lead to increased business activity, enhance productivity and enable our businesses to grow, taking up more opportunities.
"This is a win for all Tasmanians as we continue to support our business community and ensure our economy can remain strong and resilient."
