Child Abuse Squad detectives have charged a 74-year-old Broome man in relation to a number of alleged historical offences.
The man was arrested in Broome yesterday, Wednesday 21 February 2024, and has since been charged with:
- 2 x Sexual Penetration without Consent
- 14 x Unlawful and Indecent Assault
- 3 x Person in Authority Indecently Dealing with a Child (16-18 years old)
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Broome Magistrates Court today, Thursday 22 February 2024.
