Cook Labor Government efforts to boost housing and land supply in Broome are about to ramp up even further with 21 new residential lots to be delivered in Broome, as part of Stage 12 in Waranyjarri Estate, Broome North
Located approximately five kilometres north of Broome's town centre and part of the 700-hectare master-planned Broome North, Waranyjarri Estate is set to deliver up to 4,800 diverse new homes for 13,000 residents.
Additionally, a further four new social housing lots will bolster the Cook Labor Government's commitment to providing more housing for the most vulnerable members of the community. Three lots will also be allocated to Government Regional Officer Housing, to ensure the availability of suitable housing for key State Government workers.

As stated by Lands and Housing Minister John Carey:
"The Cook Labor Government is getting on with the job delivering our record $4.5 billion investment in housing and homelessness measures and today we've released another 14 new residential lots in Broome.
"Importantly, four additional lots will be developed to deliver new social housing, while three additional lots will be available for Government Regional Officer Housing.
"Today's release of 14 new lots will provide more housing diversity to families in Broome North seeking a homesite close to Cable Beach."
