Architecture and resource consumption - rarely has this relationship been more important than now. The shift from an "everything goes" mentality to a much more conscious use of building land and materials is shaping the current discourse in research and practice. In the course of the Knowledge Week "Architecture & Building Technology", Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) will make this trend accessible to interested citizens. From April 18 to 22, 2023, lectures, discussion rounds, excursions, and workshops as well as an exhibition offer the possibility to discover sustainable building.
The venue is TRIANGEL Transfer | Kultur | Raum, KIT's innovation, start-up, and transfer center at Karlsruhe's Kronenplatz. Participation is free of charge. With the exception of the workshops for school classes, no registration is required. Organizers of the Knowledge Week are TRIANGEL and KIT Faculty of Architecture.
