Officers from Arson Squad and Strike Force Vulcan are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fire at an abandoned dwelling in Bullsbrook on Monday, 2 January 2023.
About 12.50pm, police and emergency services were advised that an abandoned dwelling on Chittering Road near Amalfi Drive was on fire. The fire quickly consumed the structure before spreading to the surrounding bushland which threatened nearby homes before being brought under control by Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Arson Squad detectives urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles in the area, or who has CCTV or dash-cam vision of the fire area between 12.30pm and 1.30pm, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
