Cancer Council WA have once again joined forces with Bunnings in a bid to raise much needed funds for cancer research through this year's Daffodil Day.
Cancer Council WA Engagement Manager, Laura Fiegert, said buying a bunch of daffodils from a selected Bunnings store on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 August was a great way to get involved to help raise funds for live-saving cancer research.
"Cancer Council are hoping to raise more than $2.5 million for cancer research through this year's Daffodil Day," Ms Fiegert said.
"Daffodil Day is Cancer Council's most iconic and much-loved fundraising campaign, and 2024 marks the 38th year of Daffodil Day in Australia.
"With fundraising under pressure, it is more important than ever to ensure we support the work of our cancer researchers, so we are grateful to have Bunnings on board.
"By supporting Daffodil Day, you will help us invest in cutting-edge, life-saving research to give Australians hope for a cancer free future."
