The AMA has spoken with Bupa about communications sent to their members about the upcoming termination of their contract with Healthscope.
We have been reassured that doctors with a relationship with Bupa will receive formal communication from Bupa early next week.
If a patient has questions about what this means for them, you can refer them to Bupa's FAQ website .
The AMA is strongly encouraging both parties to resume negotiations to prevent the contract ending on 20 February.
