Police are appealing for public assistance in relation to a burglary and hit and run crash at Chambers Flats last June.
Just before 7.45am on 23 June 2024, emergency services were called to a Farrow Road address to reports of a break and enter in progress involving two males.
Police attended and disturbed a man on the roof of the property, police ran after the man before he entered a black Mazda.
An officer attempted to remove him from the vehicle, before it drove away injuring the officer.
The female Constable was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
A second male had also run from the scene.
The dog squad attended and searched the area however neither male was located.
Police have released body-worn footage of one of the men leaving the scene, and appeal to the man or anyone with information that could assist police investigations, to come forward.
