Townsville City Council is working to fix a burst water main at Julago, near the Stuart waste facility.
Council staff are on site fixing the water main. It is not currently known how long it will take to repair the main.
The 600mm water main provides water to Julago, Nome, Elliot Springs and Alligator Creek and water supply to properties in these suburbs will be impacted.
Further updates on the situation will be provided. Council would like to thank the nearby community for their patience while repairs are undertaken.
