Bus Driver Charged With Child Abuse by Detectives

Child Abuse Squad detectives have charged a bus driver for allegedly sexually touching school children living with disabilities in Sydney's west.

In August 2024, State Crime Command's Child Abuse Squad received a report that a bus driver was allegedly sexually touching multiple children, who live with disabilities, while driving them to an Western Sydney school.

Following investigations, detectives arrest a 51-year-old Greystanes man at Blacktown Police Station yesterday (Monday 2 September 2024).

He was charged with six counts of intentionally sexually touch child between 10 and 16-years-old.

The man was refused bail to appear before Blacktown Local Cour the same day.

Investigations continue.
