Businesses Invited to Join Activate Olympic Street

Local businesses are invited to showcase their products at the Activate Olympic Street weekend, with Griffith City Council now calling for expressions of interest from market stallholders and food van operators.

This event, made possible through a grant from the NSW Government's Open Streets Program led by Transport for NSW, will transform Olympic Street and the Griffith Youth Precinct into a lively hub of community engagement and entertainment from Friday 22 November to Sunday 24 November 2024.

The Activate Olympic Street weekend is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to highlight their locally made, produced, and curated products. We encourage all interested stallholders and food van operators to take part in this exciting event. Expressions of Interest forms are available here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YFQPP6P or on Council's website: www.griffith.nsw.gov.au

Don't miss the opportunity to be involved in this exciting event, featuring an array of activities, including BMX and Skateboard Workshops by Totem Skateboarding, Champions League 3v3 Basketball, a HIT99.7 Live Broadcast with giveaways on Saturday, Country Universities Centre (CUC) Open Day, as well as live music.

Playstate, AKA Jordan Lucky, the talented artist who painted the Kookaburra mural on the Summit building for the Her Way 2680 Project, will complete three live paintings and host two graffiti art workshops for the Activate Olympic weekend.
