Ballina Shire Council advise there will be a temporary road closure on Byron St, Lennox Head, between Gibbon St and Park Lane on Thursday 24 October.
This road closure is required for Council to undertake heavy patching and overlay works, to repair sections of the asphalt pavement.
Byron St work is scheduled to start at 7am, with road closures only in place between 9am and 3pm on Thursday. During this time, detours will be in place via Lennox Street and Pacific Parade.
On Friday 25 October, a section of Ross St, Lennox Head will be temporarily closed from 7am to midday for similar works.
Traffic control will be in place at both locations and motorists and pedestrians are requested to comply with changed traffic conditions and safety signs during these works. Local residents will be assisted with access by traffic control.
