Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) crews have been on scene at a rubbish fire along McNaught Road and Pasturage Road, Caboolture. Fire and Rescue Service crews and Moreton Bay Regional Council have been working to extinguish the fire which is now under control. Moreton Bay Regional Council remain on scene. The fire is generating large volumes of smoke which may affect the surrounding area, including the Bruce Highway, throughout today and the coming days. Residents are advised to close windows and doors and keep respiratory medications close by, if required. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
