The WA Board of the Medical Board of Australia and the WA Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia are seeking nominations for practitioner member vacancies arising in 2025.
As appropriate to their professional groups, these boards work in partnership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) to support the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme for the registration and notifications of medical practitioners and students, and nurses, midwives and students.
These boards are established by the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Western Australia).
Meetings occur monthly, and members may also be required to participate in out of session meetings. Members may be eligible to receive sitting fees.
