- New classrooms create fresh new look and allow for future enrolment growth
Early Childhood Education Minister Sabine Winton and Morley MLA Amber-Jade Sanderson have today unveiled a new $3 million early childhood education block at Camboon Primary School.
The new building, an election commitment by the Cook Government, provides additional permanent classroom accommodation for the kindergarten and pre-primary cohorts.
Three classrooms have created a clean and modern new look at the school and allow for future enrolment growth. The early childhood block is equipped with toilets, kitchen and storage facilities.
The design creates a dedicated early learning environment allowing early childhood education teachers and educators to deliver their early learning specialists curriculum
Hodge Collard Preston Architects designed the building, which was constructed by Rivet Construction and completed in August 2024.
The building's design promotes collaboration across the classrooms and supports outdoor learning options.
Camboon Primary School has students from 40 language backgrounds and offers specialist programs in music, visual arts, physical education, Italian and technologies.
