"I am excited to work alongside such a dedicated and diverse group of Councillors – some new to Council, some already having gained years of Council experience. Together, we will strive to make decisions that reflect the needs and aspirations of our community.

"Transparency and accountability will be at the forefront of our efforts as we build on the already strong relationships with local businesses, community groups, and residents."

The terms of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor were set for a one-year period.

The newly installed Council will set meeting dates for 2025 at its first meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, 10 December.
