During a meeting at the U.S. Department of State, Deputy Secretary of State Kurt M. Campbell and Nigerien Prime Minister Ali Zeine reaffirmed their commitment to finding ways to strengthen the U.S.-Niger bilateral relationship. The Deputy Secretary underlined the United States' continued support to the people of Niger and encouraged Niger to make progress on a transition to democratic rule.
