Ennova Facades Inc. to receive over $1 million investment from the Government of Canada to increase production and create jobs
With thousands of skilled workers and vast expertise, Ontario's manufacturing industry has incredible potential for modernization and growth. With support, this industry is poised to carve out a larger piece of the global market for Canadian-made products while creating quality jobs across the region.
Today, the Honourable Filomena Tassi, Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), along with Irek Kusmierczyk, Member of Parliament for Windsor-Tecumseh, announced an investment of $1.15 million for Ennova Facades Inc. (Ennova) to enhance its operations and competitiveness, and increase its production by 100 percent.
Ennova is a family-owned, innovative manufacturer of custom-made exterior building products, including walls, windows, solar shades and more. The company offers solutions for large projects in Canada and the U.S., such as airports, hospitals, residential, and other buildings. This investment will support the Canadian manufacturer to add equipment at its Windsor and Amherstburg facilities to increase efficiencies and enhance its local capacity to meet the growing demand for its products.
With these improvements, Ennova will be able to reduce lead times and diversify its clientele, especially in the affordable housing market as developers pursue more cost-efficient building solutions with shorter ordering lead times. The company will in turn increase its competitiveness and revenues while creating 13 good, full-time jobs in the Windsor region.
Through investments like these, the Government of Canada will continue to support manufacturers to help them bring new products to market, create jobs and grow southern Ontario's economy. The Government of Canada is investing in people so they can reach their full potential and develop new possibilities, so everyone can succeed.
