A large commercial quantity of cannabis was seized at Bowmans yesterday.
About 1.30pm Tuesday 19 March, following an investigation, officers from Serious and Organised Crime Branch attended a property on Olive Road to conduct a search.
At the address police located approximately 400 cannabis plants growing outdoors. Two people were located at the property and placed under arrest.
A 50-year-old Mile End man and a 56-year-old Prospect man have been charged with cultivating a commercial quantity of a controlled plant. They were both bailed to appear at the Kadina Magistrates Court on 15 July.
