Sex Assault Squad detectives are seeking information regarding an incident in bushland alongside the Canning River in Cannington on Sunday 29 September 2024.
About 1:00pm, an incident occurred involving a man and a woman in an area of bushland just off the end of Civic Gardens.
Around the time of the incident there were several members of the public in the general area who detectives would like to identify and speak to, including people walking nearby and others on the river canoeing or kayaking.
It is believed those people may have information that could assist with the investigation.
