Cannington Police Operation With City & Units

Between Tuesday 15 October and Sunday 26 October 2024, Officers from Cannington Police station in conjunction with the City of Canning, and officers from Liquor Enforcement Unit, Police Mounted Section and Road Policing Group, conducted Operation Toolibin targeting stealing offences and anti-social behaviour.

The operation was a success, resulting in 24 people being charged with a total of 49 offences. Four Move on Notices were issued.

During the operation, 304 traffic stops were conducted, 69 cautions issued, 30 traffic infringements given and two vehicles impounded.

Police attended 39 calls for help from members of the community for a range of tasks including disturbances and suspicious people.
