Police are appealing for vision and/or information regarding a robbery and sexual assault incident in Cannington last night, 23 December 2021.
Around 11:30pm a woman aged in her 20s was walking home from work through Charles Treasure Park when she was approached by a man.
He assaulted her and stole her handbag and other items. The victim managed to flee the scene.
She has since been treated at hospital for abrasions and swelling to her face and arm.
The man is described as a dark-skinned, approximately 20-30 years of age with a slim build. He had a distinct Australian accent and a very aggressive demeanour.
