An elderly driver drove onto the O-Bahn track at the Paradise Interchange, off Darley Road, this morning.
Emergency services were called to the Interchange just before 6.30am on Wednesday 10 July.
The airbags deployed and the 83-year-old woman was shaken but doesn't appear to have sustained serious injuries at this time.
However, the Hyundai sedan was wedged on the outbound track.
A crane has been organised to remove the vehicle from the track.
After initial closures to both tracks, services were able to resume in both directions, with outbound buses diverting around the scene.
