Cardinia Shire Council's 2025 grant applications are now open.
This year, council are offering a range of grant opportunities designed to enhance community wellbeing, stimulate economic growth, improve community infrastructure and support local initiatives.
Cardinia Shire Mayor Councillor Jack Kowarzik encourages the community to take advantage of available grant opportunities. "These grants are essential for supporting and enhancing our community," said Mayor Kowarzik. "We invite all eligible groups and businesses to apply and seize these opportunities to make a positive impact in our shire."
Applications are now open for the following grant categories:
Wellbeing Support Grants
The Community Wellbeing and Support Grants Program funds initiatives to improve residents' health and wellbeing, support volunteering opportunities, and enhance the sustainability of community groups, projects, and programs.
Applications are open from 20 January to 6 April 2025.
Community Capital Works Grants
The Community Capital Works Grants Program assists community groups in upgrading council-owned and Crown Land facilities. This program is focused on strengthening local community networks and activities, ultimately supporting the wellbeing of our residents.
Applications for the 2025-26 Community Capital Works Grants program (including supported Category 2 Partnership Grants applications) are open from 20 January to 20 March 2025.
Business Group Support Grants
The Cardinia Shire Council Business Group Support Grant Program empowers trader associations and business groups to undertake projects that enhance the local economy and business environment.
Applications are open from 20 January to 28 February 2025.
