Cardinia Shire Holds Federal Election Q&A Session

Community members are invited to attend Cardinia Shire Council's Federal Election Community Q&A session to be held at the Cardinia Cultural Centre on Tuesday, 29 April.

You will have the opportunity to hear from candidates standing for the seat of La Trobe at the upcoming election on 3 May.

Council is proud to announce that strategist and futurist, Simon Waller, will moderate the session.

Cardinia Shire Mayor Cr Jack Kowarzik encourages community members to register their attendance for the event.

"This session is a great opportunity for community members to submit their questions and hear from candidates running for the seat of La Trobe," Mayor Kowarzik said.

"We will hear different perspectives on the future of Cardinia Shire over the next three years and beyond, which is so important as we seek support from our Federal election candidates for critical projects in our shire.

"On behalf of our community, Cardinia Shire Council has launched a campaign to seek urgent investment in essential infrastructure to support the shire's rapidly growing community.

"At the centre of our campaign are 4 critical projects that the Cardinia Shire community needs and deserves – the Princes Highway intersection upgrades from Nar Nar Goon to Longwarry, Cardinia Life redevelopment, road sealing package and the Lang Lang sand truck bypass.

"Once delivered, these projects will make a significant difference to the lives of people right across the shire."
