Carinity Colthup Manor

Carinity has been advised that a fully vaccinated staff member at our Colthup Manor residential aged care community has tested positive to COVID-19.

Following the direction of the Public Health Unit, non-essential visits to Colthup Manor have been suspended until further notice. Carinity will arrange for COVID-19 testing of all residents and staff.

Contact tracing of visitors will occur and any family or friends who visited Colthup Manor while the affected staff member was working will be notified by text message when the tracing has been completed.

We have implemented infection control procedures, including staff wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE) and limiting resident movement within the community. Enhanced monitoring of residents for any COVID-19 symptoms has commenced.

The team at Colthup Manor is working hard to ensure all steps are taken to limit the risk of the virus spreading through the community.

If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms we urge you to undertake a test as soon as possible.
